While living in Chicago and Toronto Ellen Hastings, founder & owner yearned for just that. Neither place offered the same accessibility to beauty as NYC.
In 2006 Ellen brought her idea to market. She created and built a New York Style affordable luxury beauty bar, Madison Nails. Of course, named after Madison Ave. in NYC, where Ellen worked at her most favourite job.
Madison Nails Beauty Bar nurtures beauty from the inside out.
"Madison Nails has been a dream of mine for over five years. I wanted to create a place where beauty was affordable yet luxurious, where services were quick yet high quality, where the environment was relaxing yet comfortable, where one could drop in for a ten minute shoulder or foot massage as a pick me up, where the staff was welcoming and warm and could really make their guests feel that beauty does come from the inside out.
Cleanliness is an obsession of mine but just as important are the products used in the services. I wanted products that were of the highest quality, good for your body, loaded with vitamins, essentials oils, ingredients your body craves. After much research and lots of mixing we have created a magnificent line of body treatments. Madison Beauty allows you to be good to your body and the earth!"

Ellen has had a great and magical journey since graduating with honors in accounting from Dalhousie University. Her career has spanned the likes of Ottawa and Toronto working for Thomson. With Transfers that led her to Victoria then Connecticut working in IT implementing financial computer systems, her last stop was New York working for Accounting firm Richard A Eisner, LLP.
Her financial acumen has helped her grow a successful business in less than two years which has received great press from the likes of Fashion Magazine, Lou Lou, Sweetspot.ca and Glow to name a few.
If you have ever met Ellen though you would know instantly that her passion is being a mom to her 5 year old son, Cullen.

Products
Our lotions and scrubs are made in Canada and are of the highest quality, so being good to you means we can also be good to the earth. We carry, ESSIE, OPI, Orly and China Glaze polishes.
Hygiene
Relax.....we are fanatical about hygiene. All of our tools are double sanitized. We will store your nail kit and pedicure shoes. Our pedicure chairs are pipe-less and are thoroughly sterilized and cleaned after each service.

Join our club....here are the benefits.........
· Nail kit which includes file, buffer, foot paddle, toe separators and pedicure shoes. You can also, and we recommend, that you purchase your own nail cutters and cuticle cutters. Ask us about purchasing your own tools at a discount.
· Free Express manicure after your 10th manicure. The best thing is you do not have to keep track of another membership card; we will do it for you. We maintain a customer file for each of our guests but if you would like a card you can store it with your nail kit.
· In your customer file we can also record and save your favorite colors
